A Festa

Tal como no ano passado, foi um dia bastante intenso a ensinar a fiar, tecer e fazer cestos.
Apesar do cansaço no final do dia, todos concordamos que é muito importante abrir este tipo de actividades a um público que, que na sua maior parte, nunca tocou em fibras nem fez nada do género. Se por um lado, a maior parte do público não chega a ficar interessado no tema, embora se divirtam imenso no momento, há sempre muitas pessoas que saem dali com interesses novos e contactos para aprenderem mais sobre o assunto, o que é muito gratificante.

Just like last year, it was a very intense day fully spent teaching spinning, weaving and basketry.
Although we ended up extremely tired, we all agreed that it is very important to open this kind of activities to the general public, that for the most part, never did anything of the kind. Even though most people don't really take an interest, although they have fun in the moment, there are always many people leaving the event with new interests and contacts to pursue it a little further, and that's very gratifying.
