Saber Fazer goes to school

Last week we took Saber Fazer to school, or pre-school in this case! 50 pre-school children, aged between 2 and 5, experienced the whole process, from sheep to fabric: they washed, carded, spun on the spinning wheel and wove on a shaft loom! Wool is always fascinating, the drum carder never fails to excite, and there isn't a kid (or adult, for that matter) who isn't intrigued by the spinning wheel and the loom.

Taking these activities to school is not a first for us, we've been doing it directly or indirectly since 2017. But from now on, we're going to do it in a more structured and continuous way, meaning that we're going to start making these activities available to schools in the Greater Porto and North area that are interested in receiving them!
